The Wayne State University women's cross country team competed at the SVSU Invitational track meet on Saturday, April 13 at Saginaw Valley State University.

Junior Shelly Vickery led the Warriors with a second place finish in the 5,000 meter race. Her time of 18:05.34 was 19 seconds behind winner Oakland's Kristie Kieffer (17:46.17). Junior Rebecca Bobier took three seconds off her personal best running the race in 19:36.52. All WSU runners are listed below:
