2002 Warriors Volleyball Schedule Set

Wayne State University first-year head volleyball coach Limin Jin announced the 2002 Warrior schedule which features nine home matches.

WSU will participate in two tournaments (at Wheeling Jesuit and at Findlay) in the first three weeks of the season. The Warriors will have two home non-conference matches (Sept. 4 vs. Michigan-Dearborn and Sept. 11 vs. Concordia).

Wayne State will begin GLIAC play on Sept. 17 at Hillsdale, the first of five straight league matches on the road. WSU's conference home opener is slated for Oct. 4 against Mercyhurst.

The Warriors will play 17 GLIAC matches (two each against the five other South Division schools, while facing each of the seven North Division schools once).

Coach Jin's squad concludes the regular-season on Nov. 9 at home versus Findlay. The GLIAC tournament will be held at the No. 1 seed this year on Nov. 14-16. Click here for the complete schedule.
