Two Warriors Earn CHA
Player Of The Week Honors

Wayne State University junior defenseman Tyler Kindle (Portage, MI/Bozeman Icedogs) has been named College Hockey America Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Warriors to a sweep of Niagara last weekend (March 1-2).

WSU freshman wing Nathan Rosychuk (Athabasca, ALB/Grande Prairie Storm) has been selected CHA Rookie of the Week for his performance against the Purple Eagles.

Kindle had a power-play goal and assisted on the game-winner on Friday. He finished the weekend with a plus/minus rating of +3.

Rosychuk scored the game-winning goal on Friday plus assisted on WSU's first goal which tied the game at one. On Saturday, his goal tied the game at one. He was +2 for the weekend.

Wayne State will play its CHA semifinal match on Friday, March 15 against Thursday’s #4 vs. #5 quarterfinal winner. The Warriors completed the regular season with a 19-11-4 overall record and won the CHA regular-season title with a league mark of 15-2-3.
