Mike Horn begins his first season as Wayne State University's golf coach. Horn is no stranger to WSU, he attended the University for five years and was a two-time All-GLIAC selection on the golf team. Horn received his Bachelor's degree from Wayne State in Marketing/Business Management in 1986.

Horn, a Dearborn Heights native, worked for Dynamic Cleaning Supplies as a Divisional Manager prior to coming to Wayne State. He also works for The Golf Doctors, which makes custom golf clubs and other golf accessories. Horn is still an avid golfer himself and has been club champion at Harbor Golf Course in Belleville, Michigan many times over.

Horn has been a member of Publinx, an amateur golf association, for fifteen years. He graduated from Divine Child High School and was a member of the golf team for three years. Horn currently resides in Allen Park, Mich. with his wife Kimberlei and his seven year old son, Dillon.

"It is a great honor for me to come back to Wayne State and be the golf coach," said Horn. "I am thrilled to have the opportunity to coach and I am looking forward to a great year."
